1Section 8 of New Brunswick Regulation 95-61 under the Family Income Security Act is amended
(a) in subsection (2)
(i) in paragraph (p) of the English version by striking out “and” at the end of the paragraph;
(ii) in paragraph (q) by striking out the period at the end of the paragraph and substituting “; and”;
(iii) by adding after paragraph (q) the following:
(r) subject to subsection (3), retirement pension or other benefits under the Canada Pension Plan to a maximum of $200 monthly for a unit consisting of one or more persons receiving assistance under the Extended Benefits Program or the Transitional Assistance Program.
(b) in subsection (3) by striking out “exemption under paragraph (2)(e.03)” and substituting “exemptions under paragraphs (2)(e.03) and (r)”.
2This Regulation comes into force on October 1, 2022.
